For children aged 5-13 (includes years 7 & 8 at High School)
The After School Programme runs from Monday to Friday – 2.45 pm to 5.30 pm (term time)
A walking bus (transported when wet) will be operating from Geraldine Primary School, the students from Geraldine High School will make their own way over and the Woodbury school bus will be dropping the children at Geraldine Kindergarten where they will walk from to the Domain.
Prices
Permanent: $12.50 a session per child.
Two or more children (and no WINZ Subsidy) $30.00 a day
Casual: $15.00 a session per child. Two or more children $40.00 per session

FUNDING ASSISTANCE
This programme has been approved by CYFS to be eligible for payment subsidies through WINZ. To receive a subsidy parents must apply to WINZ before the programme start date on the ‘Childcare Subsidy Form’ form. They do not backdate requests. Forms can be obtained by calling 0800 559 0099. You will be required to pay the balance, if any, on the first day of the programme, or the full amount if a subsidy is not given. Some assistance is also available from the Geraldine Family & Youth Trust. Please discuss this with the Manager.
SUPERVISION AND SAFETY
The programme is delivered by the Geraldine Family & Youth Trust. Our supervisor and staff have been specifically trained in health and safety, behavior management and leadership skills. There is always one first aid trained person on site. The safety of children at all our programmes are paramount. Full copies of our safety policies are available.
DISABILITIES
The programme seeks to meet the needs of people with disabilities as per the Policies and Procedures. There is an additional form to complete to help us to understand your child’s needs.
HEALTH AND MEDICAL CONDITIONS
If a child has a condition that requires medication this will need to be detailed on the Registration Form and separate Medication Consent Form. Medication will only be administered if the consent form has been completed.
SICKNESS
Out of consideration for others please do not bring unwell children to the programme. If your child/children has been vomiting or had diarrhoea, then they must be kept away for 48 hours.

Please refer to Parent Agreement.
MINI BUS
In the case of very wet weather a Geraldine Community Bus will be hired to transport the children from Geraldine Primary School and Geraldine High School to the programme.
